HTTPS as a ranking signal

ランキングを判断するシグナルに HTTPS を含めるそうです。既にテストもしていたみたいです。

WSJ によると、暗号化された Web ページにそのランキングアルゴリズムにボーナスポイントを与えているという表現。

セキュリティは Googleにとって最優先事項ということで、2048ビットの証明書を使用し、robots.txt でクロールを塞がないようにしないといけない感じ。
128bitSSL暗号化とか、1024bit証明書ではアカンっぽい。
そうなると、クラウドフレアとか使ってると超簡単に移行できますけど、月20ドル程必要。

Googleのページで、アドレス変更（URLの変更を伴うサイト移転）する方法についてのガイドラインなんかもすでに用意されています。

あとこれ、インターネットスヌーピングに関する開示をきっかけに加速って書いてますし、やっぱり米国家安全保障局（NSA）による情報収集が発覚したことを受けてのこともあるんだと思いますけど、結局どの程度の反映になるかというと、グローバルクエリの1％未満に影響を与えるということで、徐々にその割合が引き上げられる可能性もあるようですけど小さい影響と思います。
